A little about me . . .

My mom was a painter, so I had oil paints readily available when I was a kid. I did my first oil painting at 13, and loved it and I've been painting ever since. I became a William Alexander certified painting instructor in 1990, and taught classes in St. Charles, Illinois for several years. I also traveled to Wisconsin to teach at several different locations.  When we moved to  Colorado in 1996, I opened my own painting studio in Denver where I taught classes and hosted visiting instructors.  In 2007, we started spending winters in Arizona, and I started teaching at various senior communities there. I'm now a full time Arizona resident and was a member of the Fountain Hills Artists Gallery from 2014 to 2019.  Today I show my art at various shows and teach oil painting workshops at several local retirement communities.
